Proofing is the best way to ensure that your finished products will match your expectation. We will calibrate our machines to create a baseline proof that we show to you. If you are unhappy with the proof, you can edit your file and have up to 3 proofs printed total. Once you have approved your proof, we calibrate our printers again to match the approved proof. This process will let you see the color, resolution, and paper type of your order, but will not guarantee exactly where your order will be cut, folded, drilled, and other finishing work, as there is always variance in the finishing process. Typically proofs are printed with both sides on the same side of one large press sheet. Proofing will add at minimum 1 business day to your order. We offer a free proof of a single image for any digital order that is a combined total of 50 pieces or more. Orders under 50 pieces will cost $5 per image to proof. The proofing fee will also be charged to first time orders, but can be used as a credit toward the final order. Large booklets with a quoted price per piece of more than $5 will use the quoted price for one piece as the proofing fee. Orders over 50 will still be free for large booklets. We cannot guarantee the output color and resolution of your project without proofing, so please request a proof before starting if this is a sensitive project.
In some instances we can make an epson proof of your offset order. This is a good simulation of the final product but will not be an exact match in color, texture or paper type. We can also typically make a digital mockup if you would like to see this as a sample.
Test strips are available upon request and typically start at $10. Please email to inquire.
