About Us
Fireball Printing started with a copy machine in a living room. Now we are much more fancy than that.

Our Story
Fireball Printing started out with a single copy machine in a Philadelphia rowhome. Our goal was to make high quality, affordable prints for our artist friends to sell. Growing by word of mouth for the first decade of our existence, we started printing for bars, venues, restaurants, schools, nonprofits and a variety of other businesses and organizations. As we expanded, we kept getting better printing and finishing equipment, focusing hard on quality, customer service, and making Fireball a nice place to work.
Now operating out of our own building at 2644 Coral Street, we’re equipped with a Canon varioPRINT iX3200 production inkjet press. Our services include digital, large format and offset printing as well as a wide variety of finishing options. We have access to a large network of binderies, specialty finishers and boutique printmakers, giving us the ability to bring your visions into reality. We’re excited to work with you on your next project!
Environmental
All of our digital paper is FSC certified. We have recycled papers available and recommend them whenever possible. All of our paper scraps are recycled. The cardboard boxes, kraft paper, and plastic bags we use for packaging are all made from 100% recycled materials. All of our shipments are carbon neutral. Our delivery car is a hybrid. And we specialize in fast, local printing, which saves a lot of carbon emissions.
Catherine and Paul
Fireball Printing is owned by Catherine Dentino and Paul Yavarone, Jr. They work alongside a small and dedicated staff of fellow artists. Catherine and Paul live with their son and dog about a 10 minute walk from the print shop. They’ve messed around with art and community for most of their lives, from personal pursuits to stuff like Pterodactyl Gallery and WEIRDO. Paul has worked in the print industry for over 20 years and started working with artists across the country with his anti-gallery/traveling art carnival project BIG ART SHOW in the early 2000s. Catherine has a background in arts and cultural management, as well as photography and design. She manages many aspects of the business, and also built Fireball’s database and workflow systems. She serves as a board member of the local neighborhood organization.
WEIRDO
Fireball grew out of a desire to support artists and to make places for art within our community. Over time we’ve hosted various art shows, performances, and workshops. Our current project, WEIRDO: The East Kensington Arts and Oddities Festival, is our annual celebration of all that is art and WEIRD here in Philadelphia. We focus on visionary and self-taught art along with other elements such as circus arts, experimental music and straight up bizarre acts like AWFUL Wrestling. Check the WEIRDO site and follow on social media for more info and event updates.
