If you’d like a physical printed proof, please select the "proof" option on the product page. Proofing is available only for certain products; if you don’t see a proof option, please contact us to confirm eligibility.
Proofing is the best way to ensure your finished products match your expectations. We’ll calibrate our equipment to produce a baseline proof for you to review. If you’d like to change how the finished piece looks, you’ll need to supply updated artwork files, and you may request up to three rounds of revisions. Once your proof is approved in writing, we recalibrate to match that proof for your full run.
The proofing process will let you see the color, resolution, and paper type of your order, but will not guarantee exactly where your order will be cut, folded, drilled, or indicate the positioning of other finishing work, as there is always variation in the finishing process. Typically proofs are printed with both sides on the same side of one large press sheet. We cannot guarantee the output color and resolution of your project without proofing, so please request a proof before starting if this is a sensitive project.
For Large Prints, proofs are typically produced as an 8x10" section of the image, selected to best represent overall color, contrast, and detail.
If you’d like to review a specific area of the image (for example, skin tones, gradients, or critical detail), or would prefer a scaled-down version of the full image, you may request this when placing your order or by contacting us after checkout.
Because Large Print proofs are representative sections rather than full-size prints, they are intended to confirm color and image quality—not final scale or cropping.
Proofing adds at least two business days to your overall turnaround; your order’s production schedule will begin after the proof is approved in writing.
Unless otherwise requested, your proof will ship via USPS if you’ve selected a shipping option for your full order, or it will be held for pickup if you’ve chosen in-store pickup for your full order.
*Booklets with a quoted price per piece of more than $15 will use the quoted price for one piece as the proofing fee
